Kristine Whittemore, Director

Kristine was promoted to Director as of December 2011. She previously served as Assistant Director and Full-Day Preschool Teacher. Kristine has been employed at ILNS since 2002. She attended Anna Maria College where she received her Bachelors degree in Human Growth and Development/Elementary Education. Kristine's son is a graduate of ILNS and her other two children are current students.

In her spare time Kristine likes to camp with her family and spend time with her great group of friends.


Kimberly Harned, Assistant Director

Kim was hired as the Assistant Director in December 2015. Kim has her bachelors degree in education and has worked in the field of early education for 16 years. Kim's daughter is a graduate of ILNS and her son is a current student.

Kim enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys her trips to Maine in the summer.


Christine Williams, Infant Teacher

Christine Williams has been employed at ILNS since 2000. Chris currently works in our Infant room as Lead Teacher. She has her associates degree in Early Childhood and has worked in the field of early education for eighteen years.

Both of Chris's children are graduates of Immanuel Lutheran Nursery School.

In her spare time Chris is an advocate for the Special Olympics where her son is an athlete.


Robin Fee, Infant Teacher

Robin Fee has been working as an Infant Teacher since 2002. Robin is currently working towards a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. Robin holds a certification from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care as an Infant/Toddler teacher and a Preschool teacher. Robin' two grown children are graduates of ILNS.

Robin loves spending her summer months growing and selling Day lilies along with caring for her numerous pets. Robin also enjoys spending time at the Cape.


Ashley Schwartz, Infant Teacher

Ashley was hired in June 2014 as a summer substitute and was hired as an Infant teacher in September 2014. Ashley graduated in May 2017 with her associates degree. She is currently enrolled in a bachelors degree program in the early childhood field. In her spare time Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and friends and visiting the beach.


Megan Hayes, Infant Teacher

Megan was hired in June of 2014 as a summer substitute. She stayed on and works in all 3 classrooms as a teachers aide. In June 2015, Megan started working as a teacher in the Infant room. Megan attends college full time working towards her bachelors degree. She anticipates to graduate this December 2017.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys listening to country music and loves to camp.


Maureen Darmanin, Infant Teacher

Maureen was hired as a school wide substitute in the fall of 2015. In January 2016 she was hired as a part time Infant teacher. Maureen has her certificate from EEC to teach Infants and Toddlers.

Maureen loves to spend time with her family.


Jenn Broslovsky-Infant Teacher

Jenn joined our Infant teaching team in May 2017. She has a background in early childhood and has worked in other centers throughout her career. We are happy to have her on our team.


Kimberlee Riggsby, Toddler Teacher

Kimberlee  has been employed at ILNS since 1998. Kim works in our Toddler room as Lead Teacher. Before joining ILNS Kim ran her own home daycare for over 9 years. Kim has her Bachelors degree from Eastern Connecticut State University in Early Childhood Education.Kim has two grown children and two granddaughters.

In her spare time Kim enjoys spending time with her granddaughters, traveling with her family and baking.


Joan Deely- Toddler Teacher

Joan was hired in September 2017 as a toddler teacher. She has a long history working with toddlers. We welcome her to our team.


Elizabeth Urban, Toddler Teacher

Elizabeth has been employed  at Immanuel Lutheran Nursery School since October 2013. She is currently a teacher in the Toddler Room. Liz is taking classes to pursue her Associates degree in Early Childhood.


Donna Smith, Preschool Teacher

Donna Smith has been employed at ILNS since 2000. She currently works as our lead preschool teacher. Donna has worked in the field of early childhood education for over 25 years. Donna received her Bachelors in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State College. 

Her children are both Immanuel Lutheran graduates.

In her spare time Donna enjoys spending time with her family.


Amanda Pelrah, Preschool Teacher

Amanda Pelrah has been employed at ILNS since 2011 as a toddler teacher. AS of the fall 2017 she has moved over to the preschool classroom. Amanda graduated from Quinsigamond Community College with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is certified by the DEEC as an Infant/Toddler and Preschool teacher. In Amanda’s spare time she enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.


Angela Alex, Preschool Teacher

Angela has been a preschool teacher here at ILNS since October 2014. She currently teaches our Pre-K class and works very hard to get them ready for Kindergarten. She has her Bachelors degree in education and has many years experience in the early childhood field.


Zoe Kraner, Teacher Aide

Zoe was hired in June 2016 as a summer substitute. She currently works in both our preschool and toddler rooms. Zoe is currently a senior in high school.

Zoe enjoys spending time with her family and friends and really enjoys music.


Callie Christenson- Teacher's Aide

Callie joined our teaching team in September 2017. She is  currently a senior in high school and is enrolled in the child study program. Callie is not a stranger to ILNS. She herself is a graduate of the program. We are excited to have her join our team.
